Summer is an intimidating time. Bikinis, pool parties, and short shorts make it a little scary to face the world in those warm months. But have no fear my friends, the five minute workout is here!

There aren't many exercises that make an immediate difference in the tightness of your booty, but thankfully, there are a few. Before throwing on that itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, tiny yellow polka dot bikini, take a few minutes for yourself, and hit the big muscle groups with these four exercises.
Not only will they get the blood flowing and pump up those endorphins, making you happy, they will also tighten a couple of those problem areas in just minutes!
Okay, okay, you can do them on your knees too. But, start on your toes and when your shoulders and arms start to get weak, drop to your knees to finish the set. No cheating, girls! These bad boys engage your arms, shoulders, chest and back all in one brutal motion.
Get into a plank position and simply lower your body down towards the ground without touching it. Then push your way back up, easier said than done, I know. Try to get in 15 of these.
These puppies are the gold standard of leg workouts! Strengthening your bum, quads, hamstrings and getting a bit of cardio in at the same time. Add a jump in between legs, or keep it simple with a standard alternating lunge.
Step forward with your right leg, bending it to a 90 degree angle so that your knee is directly above your ankle. Bring your feet back together, then alternate to the left leg. Repeat 20 times and feel the burn!
Working mostly your core, this will tighten up that stubborn mid section in minutes.
Sitting on your glutes, balance your legs and arms straight out without your heals touching the floor. Simultaneously pull your legs up to your chest, and your arms in, then back into the straight position. Remember, your back and heals should never touch the ground. That's the tough part! Do this 20 times.
Tighten and lift that booty with an easy exercise like these kick backs.
Hold onto the back of a chair (or anything sturdy) for balance, or get on all fours. Keep your hips and shoulders aligned and lift your straight leg backwards until you feel the burn of your glute. Pause there for a few seconds then bring your leg back down. Repeat on the other leg. Do this one 25 times on each leg.
We think every woman is beautiful, but the healthier you are, the more wonderful you feel both inside and out! Do 4 sets of these quick exercises before you hit the beach and not only will you look more toned, you will feel more beautiful.
