Mom's Stressed And Always Running Late - Then These SIMPLE Tricks Completely Changed Her Life

We all know efficient, organized, on time people. They get things done-fast. Show up before their scheduled appointments-do it all. How do they accomplish all this? They follow these simple rules.
Keep Multiple Calendars
This may sound counterproductive, but it's not. You most likely rely on a digital calendar, but what if your cell runs dry or your Internet goes down? Sometimes an old-fashioned, hand written calendar is a good back-up. And this allows your entire family to view their upcoming activities, reminding them to get organized and set out their soccer gear or baseball clothes. No more scrambling to get their "things" together at the last minute. An organized family is a happy family.
It's Soccer Day. You're packing into your SUV when you hear, "Mom, it's your turn for Soccer Mom Week. You're ready, right?" What? This means providing fresh fruit, hydrating fluids, and after game treats for the entire team. No problem. Being super organized, you're prepared for these unknowns. You always have a mega stock of healthy snacks on hand. Within minutes, you toss pre-cut fruit, Gatorade bottles, and health bars into a rolling cooler. Bam! You're ready to go.
You know how your week will run. Busy! So why waste mornings picking through what you're going to wear? A super method for prepping is to set aside all the garments you'll need for the upcoming week. And I mean, everything, including undergarments. Then set a designated spot in your closet where you hang every piece of clothing onto one hanger for each day of your week. Now you won't drain your mornings agonizing how to dress. Just grab, dress, and go!
You're a family on the go. And when you need to go, you go! But does everyone know exactly where their gear is located? A great organizing hack is to set up a special area with structured storage that contains everything everybody needs for their activities. No more scrambling, worrying where their soccer cleats or a baseball mitt is located. Everybody's equipment is in a set place, not tucked away in a closet or under a bed. Your gear is ready, and so are you!
Efficient people often get so caught up in achieving a goal, they lose focus on how long they've been pushing themselves to achieve it. Great for getting things done, but not healthy for the mind and body. Sitting at a computer 24/7 is not good. How to break that task flow? Set an alarm. Whether it's an iPhone, Echo, or an old-fashioned egg timer-do it. You'll be amazed how a 15 minute break can rejuvenate you. And boost your productivity!
On time people pay their bills on time. And they certainly pay them online. If you're financially secure having your monthly bills automatically deducted, go for it. If you're not yet moneyed there, definitely pay your bills with a few computer strokes through your bank's online bill pay. If you opt for this second method, a great time saver is to negotiate with your payees to get all your bills scheduled to be paid at the same time each month. Now you can go online and BOOM! All your bills have gone away. Well, at least for a month.
It's easy to get sucked into that online, black hole time zone. Whether you're into Facebook, Twitter, or whatever, unless you're utilizing these sites to promote a business, or checking crucial emails, online surfing needs to take a backseat to your busy life. Effective people make their online minutes count. Schedule your recreational Internet to your off hours when you have the luxury of down time. Yes, down time. You operate on high gear everyday. Give yourself the gift of chilacking online. But only when online is off time!
Want to do it all? Good luck. You'll find your time being eating up faster than a cream topped cupcake. Successful people delegate. Think you have to be a CEO to delegate? No. Middle level manager? No. Stay-at-home mom? No! You probably juggle more duties than that "high-powered" CEO. Look to your inner circle, ask for help, and you'll be surprised at how many people are willing to get on board and go above and beyond for you.
