He crushes it up into a paste, but when it's placed over his moles? I never knew this
Warts, moles and skin tags are harmless but annoying growths that appear on the skin. They are not the prettiest things to look at, and can make a person feel self-conscious. However, there are plenty of natural remedies that can be used to successfully treat these skin conditions!
What Is A Wart?
Warts are a small, rough growth on the skin that are caused by the HPV virus, and it can be found on the mouth, hands and feet. There are different variations of warts, but "common" warts are flesh colored and can grow to about a quarter inch in size. Dr. Mercola states that in most cases, your immune system will rid itself of the HPV virus on its own within two years. In the meantime, if you don't want to suffer from the appearance of warts, try some of these natural remedies to get rid of them.
Good Old Duct Tape
Duct tape works for fixing or patching a million different things, but it can also kill off a nasty wart! This idea comes directly out of the mouth of Dr. Oz. It works because it blocks all the oxygen surrounding the wart, thereby suffocating it to death. You need to leave it on for about five days, however duct tape was built to stick to things, so it shouldn't peel off in the meantime.
Pineapple has an amazing enzyme called bromelain that can dissolve warts in no time! The treatment is as simple as applying a fresh slice of pineapple to the wart several times a day. The acids and enzymes will soon kill it off. Do not use pineapple juice or the fruit that comes in the can, as these are exposed to high heat, which kills the beneficial enzymes.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of the melaleuca tree, and is native to Australia. It has been used as a powerful health remedy for hundreds of years due to its natural antibacterial and antiviral properties. Per Dr. Axe, tea tree oil is so powerful, it can kill off a variety of different viruses, fungi and bacteria! Since warts are caused by the human papillomavirus, it's a perfect remedy to make those warts disappear for good. To treat the wart, apply tea tree oil several times a day. Then say goodbye to that yucky wart!
What Is A Mole?
Moles are common skin lesions that can be brown or black in color that, according to WebMD, usually appear within the first 30 years of life. They form when skin cells grow in clusters, rather than being spread throughout your skin. These small growths are for the most part not harmful, but changes in size or color should be looked at by a doctor. Try these natural tips to help get rid of those irksome little moles.
This sounds like the makings of a scrumptious dish, but Livestrong says that the enzyme in garlic paste can break down the cell clusters so the mole spreads out evenly across the skin. The enzymes will also help the mole lighten up over time.
To make a garlic paste:
Step 1: Using a Q-tip, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around the mole to protect the skin. Garlic may burn the skin, and you only want to treat the mole itself.
Step 2: Crush a clove of garlic with a garlic press until a mushy paste is formed.
Step 3: Apply the paste directly on top of the mole.
Step 4: Cover the area with a bandage and let it sit for 4 hours.
You can repeat this process up to three times a day.
Potatoes also have a natural enzymes that can dissolve the clumpy skin cells that form the mole. Rub a sliced potato against the mole three times per day. Repeat the process until the mole disappears.
A mixture of castor oil and baking soda can also help remove those pesky moles! First you'll want to exfoliate the mole so that the paste will sink in quicker. Then take a quarter teaspoon of castor oil and mix it with a little bit of baking soda. Dab the paste onto the mole, and cover with a band-aid. Leave on overnight. Repeat daily until the mole is gone.
What Is A Skin Tag?
Skin tags are small, soft growths that resemble "tags" or balloons that hang off of your skin. They are actually benign tumors, but they can be very annoying! It can form anywhere on the body, and are caused by a mix of collagen and blood vessels that become trapped inside thicker bits of skin. Fear not, there are plenty of all-natural ways to get rid of them!
Apple Cider Vinegar
The natural acidity and enzymes in apple cider vinegar are known to treat a host of health ailments, and it's one of the best ways to remove skin tags. To treat, soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and dab it directly onto the skin tag. You can do this several times a day. Eventually, the tags will darken and fall off.
Oregano oil contains a variety of chemical compounds that have amazing antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory benefits. It's a great natural alternative treatment for skin tags. According to Dr. Mercola, there are at least 40 different species of oregano, and not all of them have therapeutic health benefits. Makes sure you are using Origanum vulgare or Thymus capitatus from Spain for the most impact.
Step 1: Dilute two drops of oregano oil with four drops of coconut oil. Never apply the oregano oil full-strength, as it can burn sensitive skin.
Step 2: Apply this mixture on top of the skin tag three times per day.
Step 3: Patiently watch as it dries up and falls off! It may take up to a month to see results.

Onions have been used for centuries to reduce inflammation and heal infections. It's rich in sulfur and B-complex vitamins. The juice of the onion can help rejuvenate a dull complexion, and are a perfect choice for treating skin tags.
To make this paste, you will need to do a little prep work ahead of time:
Step 1: In the morning, chop an onion and mix it with salt. Let it sit all day until the salt forces the juice out of the onion.
Step 2: Apply the juice onto the skin tag at bedtime, and cover with a bandage. Wash it off in the morning.
