Mom Packs Daughter's Lunch, She Opens It At School And Realizes The Hilarious Mistake

Most parents can usually agree that school lunches are a chore to pack! This is especially true of busy moms who are just trying to keep the household running smoothly. Yet, any mom will tell you that if you don't plan ahead of time, what ends up in the daily lunch sack might not be the most nutritious thing in the world. Although kids will eat or drink just about anything, the real question is whether or not they should!
17-year-old McKenzie is just a normal teenage girl. Even though she's almost old enough to go off to college, her mom still packs her lunch every day. McKenzie enjoys the occasional junk food binge, but this high school senior also wants to maintain a slim figure.
However, one day McKenzie's midday meal included something that would definitely contribute to belly bloating! When McKenzie reached into her lunchbox, she noticed something strange. VERY strange! What in the world was mom thinking?
It was obvious that McKenzie's mom wasn't concentrating on the task at hand when she packed her daughter's lunch. McKenzie had a good chuckle when she discovered the unexpected surprise in her lunch box. In fact, the item was the best bargaining tool a teenager could ever come across!
Although she knew that her mother made a huge mistake, this cheeky teen wasn't going to let her off the hook so easily. It seems like teenagers are punished all the time for little mistakes. Shouldn't mom get a slap on the wrist for her big no-no? Well McKenzie certainly thought so, and decided to have fun at her mom's expense!
In a funny text to her mom, McKenzie started off the conversation innocently enough. But, the jokester knew full well what she was about to put her poor mother through!
"What's the drink you packed for lunch? Energy drink?"
Well, since we're talking teenagers here - it has to be either ice tea, soda pop, or those awful energy drinks. As if teens don't already have enough energy to fuel the entire planet!
Hmmm, so what does mom think she packed? It was early in the morning, after all. She probably forgot already. Starting the morning without a cup of coffee can do that to your brain.
"Idk (I don't know)."
Nope, it doesn't look like mom recalls what she gave to her mischievous daughter. It's probably better that she has no memory of what happened. Cops love good alibis, even if the story does seem a bit unbelievable!
"I think tea. Or energy. It was in the refrigerator downstairs."
Downstairs, as in the basement downstairs? Wait, isn't that usually where you store the "special" stuff for the Superbowl game?
The can certainly looks like something that would be an energy drink. The graphics are loud, the logo has bright colors, and it looks like it'd be super fun to drink! McKenzie probably would have loved to pop the tab and take a sip! But, this type of "energy" drink is quite illegal for a 17-year-old to be in possession of.
That didn't matter to sweet McKenzie - she wanted to let the world know that her mom was the coolest mom in the world! She posted a picture of her surprise drink on Twitter:
"So my mom packed me a four loko for lunch..."
In case you're wondering, Four Loko is an alcoholic beverage that's usually found in convenience stores. These "alcopops" usually come in sweet flavors like strawberry lemonade. They are known to turn grown men into blubbering idiots.
Thankfully McKenzie was a smart young lady, and didn't touch the stuff - except to pose it next to her KIND granola bar for the perfect photo op! In the end, the only fun McKenzie had that day was giving her mom a good ribbing! Isn't that the best way to have a good time, anyways?
Oops! That's quite a mistake... and probably one that Mom won't repeat ever again! But, it does look an awful lot like an energy drink, doesn't it?
