Mom Drops Off Daughter To College Orientation. Minutes Later, Sends Photo She'll Never Forget

Oh, the unforgettable and life-changing college years... We spent that time making friends who became family, going to Friday night football games, and enjoying our new found freedom - all while somehow fitting school into our busy schedules!
However, it took a little time to gain a level of comfort on that intimidating, enormous campus.
At first, the newness was so overwhelming in fact, that some of us might've even considered climbing right back into the backseat of our parents' car. Some of us, may have even shed a few tears as we watched our mom and dad disappear out of sight...
Every so often, you have those parents who find a unique way to keep "the drop-off" silly and light. One Texas mom did just that - and her hilarious method has the Internet going crazy!
Avery Leilani may have expected to have an ordinary day during her college orientation, but her mom had a very different idea...
Shortly after Avery's mother dropped her for freshman orientation, Avery received an unexpected text from her mom. The text contained a set of pictures, and the description, "I made some friends. Don't wait up!"
Apparently, while Avery was busy learning about the layout of the college campus - her mom was busy learning more about the game of football!
Now how's that for creating college memories?
Her mom's comical text was of course too good to keep to herself, so Avery immediately took to Twitter to share it with the world - and boy did the readers love it!
"The lady is livin the DREAM"
"Your mom is a legend lol"
"This makes my day!! Love her! She's my spirit sister."
As they say, you're only as young as you feel. This college mom is not only feeling young, but looking it too. Hats off to you "Avery's mom" for keeping life light, joyous, and fun - because that's only everything!
