Parenthood can certainly be "rainbows and butterflies" at times. However, we don't usually experience those fluffy feelings every moment of every day. Raising children can be challenging too, right?
We often face new hurdles that simply weren't present during our pre-parent days - like operating on non-existent sleep, having to maintain patience with an overly tired toddler (when we just feel like melting down too), and being forced to take 30 second interrupted showers.
Oh, the joys of parenthood!
And then, you have the "child car seat challenge." No matter the brand and no matter the style, one thing's for certain - car seats are awkward, heavy, and a struggle to tote around!
That is, until now. Get ready for the back-saving, pain-free car seat secret you've been desperately searching for...

Bridge Family Chiropractic understands that carrying a car seat can be difficult. So, they shared a how-to video on Facebook with a wonderful alternative to the typical tugging method.
In the video, she explains,
"This is a way you can carry so it's not going to hurt your shoulders, it's not going to hurt your hip, and you're not going to have to use your knee to swing (the car seat)."
She goes on to say,
"Someone taught me this before, and it's been the greatest thing that I've been shown."
To carry the car seat more comfortably - simply slip your hand underneath the handle, flip your hand around, and grab the underside of the seat.
When the woman from Bridge Family Chiropractic switches her infant car seat from the forearm-carry to the new method, she explains,
"It's a completely different change in how I'm using my body - to be able to distribute the weight of this carrier and be able carry it around."
And here's a safety tip from Bridge Family as well,
"I suggest being cleared by your medical professional prior to trying any new regimen if you would like to ensure you are fit to perform actions like the one shown here."
