One might call it gossip, but when it comes to celebrities whom we love, learning more about their personal lives feels as good as getting to know a friend better. Indulging in this guilty pleasure will be easy, especially for fans of country music stars Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, whose latest revelations will not disappoint.
Miranda and Blake had been dating for six years before getting married. But only after four years as husband and wife, two years ago in 2015, the country superstars decided to go their separate ways.
In spite of having all the money to sooth a broken heart, neither were spared from the emotional rollercoaster of a break-up, especially since they were together for such a long time.
While not much made it through to the public about their fragile state of minds, now that it's been two years since their announcement, fans are finally getting a glimpse into their world in a very unique way.
Interestingly enough, if you want to understand Miranda's side of the story, all you have to do is listen to her new album. The country star's latest double-album, The Weight of These Wings, was described by Billboard as:
"... honest and very, very good; the "bad" and "ugly" moments make for one of the year's most powerful releases. The 24 tracks drip with quivering vulnerability and enough raw emotion to cause even the hardest-hearted listener to shed a tear or two."
In talking to Billboard magazine, Miranda admits to this being her "break-up" album:
"I was like, ‘Let's feel it all,' I was ready to have the days where I can't even stand up and the days where I'm celebrating ... If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it's all on there, there's no mystery anymore - take from it what you will."
Similarly for Blake, his latest album, If I'm Honest, tells his side of the story of what went wrong. Speaking about the making of the album, Blake says:
"When we recorded the vocals for some of these songs, I was only six months removed from when all the crap went down. When you have a broken heart - at least, when I do - you got to get it out of your system ... I was at rock bottom, in the middle of hell ... You can learn some facts of my divorce. Maybe not specifics, but you can get a general idea about it."
In the midst of this emotional turmoil, Blake remembers finding comfort in fellow The Voice host Gwen Stefani. The two later publicly shared their dating status. Speaking about Gwen, Blake says that she:
"... saved my life. It is my divorce record, but maybe even more than that, it's my happy, falling-in-love record too."

Miranda, who has found comfort in her current relationship with boyfriend Anderson East has also not been shy about sharing her emotions about her new guy. In a recent Instagram post she could hardly contain her love:
"Rock & Roll Sundays and No Makeup Mondays. My favorite Bama boy turned 30 today. He owns the stage and he owns my heart. Thanks @andersoneast for inspiring me in so many ways. You are a light that could outshine the sun. I love making memories with you."
Whether celebrity or not, it seems that heartbreaks are a part of life one can't avoid. For Miranda and Blake however, their break-up story has been replaced with both of them finding comfort and love in their respective relationships.
